Calling All Prayer Warriors!!

To any of you who feel burdened to pray for our adoption, this is for you.

The Lord has specifically burdened me to pray big and specifically and boldly for our sweet children this week. I am asking you to join in and have confidence that the Lord hears the prayers of His people.

We are coming up on 3 months waiting on court. We were told it would be 1-2 months and yet we still have not heard anything. We are confident that things are moving again after the elections in late November.

Please join me in praying that our family would pass court and/or receive the certificate of non-appeal this coming week.

I am burdened to pray so specifically for this, and I am expecting the Lord to answer. If His answer is different than what we are praying, then it is for His glory and we will wait on Him.

Here are some scriptures to pray to Him:

Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me? Jeremiah 32:27

I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. John 14:18

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man,unstable in all his ways. James 1:5-8

Ask, and you will receive,that your joy may be full. John 16:24

And Jesus answered them,“Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen. And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.” Matthew 21:21-22

And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him. 1 John 5:15

Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:12-13

Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them. Matthew 18:19-20

Friends, let us not lose sight of the power we have as brothers and sisters in Christ, joined together by the same spirit, which we received through the power of adoption. I hope that you will join me in calling on the Lord to fulfill this request.
