He is the One

Psalm 138:1-3

I give you thanks, O LORD, with my whole heart; 
   before the gods I sing your praise; 
I bow down toward your holy temple 
   and give thanks to your name for your steadfast love and your faithfulness, 
   for you have exalted above all things 
   your name and your word.^[a] 
On the day I called, you answered me; 
   my strength of soul you increased.


Six days ago, I asked those of you who were willing to specifically pray with us this week that we would pass court and/or receive a certificate of non-appeal.


Oh friends, I am so humbled and thankful to tell you that our gracious Lord has heard our prayers and we got word this morning we passed court!!


We are not exactly sure yet what documents we received and where that leaves our timeline or what to do next.  But it's okay.  For right now we are celebrating the faithfulness of an almighty God, and an intimate Father, who has heard our cries to Him and answered. Our precious children are one step closer (one GIANT step closer!) to coming home forever.


HE is the One who burdened my heart. HE is the One who said to ask you to join me in prayer. HE is the One who comforted me when doubt began to sneak in. HE is the One who forgave when I began to get fearful. HE is the One who answered the prayer. HE is the One to praise!
